The Professional Relations Team within The Davis Center for Portfolio Management creates events that develop the staff into professionals ready to continue education or enter the workforce. This development takes the form of career awareness, the Distinguished Speaker Series, and networking events. By reviewing professional publications and communicating with the industry, The Davis Center staff learns about trends in the industry and prepares itself to be among the most competitive graduates for positions with top financial firms nationwide.

Keeping Contact

Professional Relations is the Davis Center’s connection between the industry and students. Keeping close ties with industry professionals, including planning campus visits, is important to ensure The Davis Center continues its strong relationship with the professional community. Each year, many alumni and companies visit the University of Dayton with agendas including a visit to The Davis Center. The Professional Relations team hosts and organizes programming for each visitor.
